11:-12:25pm Contact Improvisation for Dancers at All Skill Levels- Paul Speilman
EVERYONE IS WELCOME -Contact Improvisation emerges from stillness and a single shared center of gravity. You just have to be willing to give up Your center and embrace Our center.
On our feet and on the floor, here are some questions we might explore:
How do we merge our bodies and sense where this leaderless dance is taking us?
How do we feel the floor through our partners’ feet?
How do we support from the top? How do we fly while supporting? How can we fall up?
Paul began dancing CI over 30 years ago at a workshop just like this one. He heard about it at Dance Friday. He has studied with many teachers, mostly at Earth Dance and Dance New England; he has danced at Jams around the world. Paul believes that Contact is a form that can be fun and safe for dancers at a wide range of skill levels.

Hi,
I have not signed up for the weekend because I am not sure whether there is any childcare available. I have a 14 month old... Can you let me know if there are any options for child care?
Thanks.
