Here you can preregister for an in–person Dance Friday or Dance Freedom event or make a donation.
You will be taken to PayPal for payments. Transactions will appear as “Movement Collective”.
Please read the statement below before registering for an event.
Welcome to Dance Friday, an activity of the Movement Collective, Inc.. Most of our live events are cohosted with Dance Freedom. Dance Friday/Freedom events are a place where people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can express themselves through movement to music. We strive to create an atmosphere of acceptance, friendship and trust. We guide our freedom of expression by a committed respect for the physical and psychological safety of others. We value dance and community in the celebration of our lives and endeavor to share and promote this vision in our world.
In order to ensure that the dance is a safe and pleasant experience for all, we require that you understand the following:
• Personal responsibility: All dancers dance at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety.
• Respect for others: Dancing in a manner that unreasonably interferes with other dancers’ safety or pleasure is strictly forbidden.
• Consent: Obtain consent when dancing with others.
• Barefoot/soft bottom shoes: Dance barefoot or wear soft bottom dance shoes.
• No smoking, alcohol or other substances are to be consumed in the church or on the church grounds.
• Please stay in the designated areas and treat the church property with respect, if you spill something clean it up.
I understand that Dance Friday/Freedom reserves the right to enforce these policies and to exclude any person at any time, in its sole discretion.
I further understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that I am dancing in a safe manner, that I am aware of other dancers at all times, and that I am dancing within the limits of my abilities.
It is also my responsibility to safeguard my personal property that I have brought to the dance.
I specifically agree to waive and release Dance Friday, the Movement Collective, Inc., and Dance Freedom from any and all claims for loss of or damage to property, liability of personal injury that may arise from my participation in the dance.
Parents: I understand that I am bringing my children at my own risk and I am responsible for their behavior and safety.
Your registration for this event signifies you (and any guests) have read, understood, and agree to the above.

at St John’s 74 Pleasant St., Arlington MA
Online Dances:
Dance Freedom Wednesdays, Dance Friday on Fridays 8:30-9:30pm ET online.
