Shake your soul came out of Kripalu in the Berkshires and was created by Dan Leven.

It was originally called Danskinetics…now it’s sometimes called noon dance. Toni Bergins who created Journey Dance trained with Dan so there’s a connection in the kind of class.

It’s a combination of structured teacher-guided dances and creative processes to music of all kinds, designed to get people in touch with their joyful embodied selves!

It has a theoretical underpinning based on moving various body fluids, but only the teachers are trained in that, for dancers, it’s fun!
